Setergrytå was built as a turnkey project Svorka småkraft AS.
The project started in January 2023 and came into operation in October 2024.
The project included the laying of 2,000 meters of pipes and a 400-metre difference in height. A by-pass valve has been installed in the power station which ensures continuous water release for fish downstream of the station.
Njord has been responsible for detailed planning and optimization. The dam and intake were built with regulation, so that production can be increased when needed. Concrete was transported by helicopter.
The project required a lot of coordination, as bends were to be cast in pipe fabric, in the middle of Statnett's 300 kV lines.
Njord is proud to have realized Setergrytå for the end customer, as the project was complicated and challenging.
