Riva power plant

Riva power plant is located in Tylldalen, Tynset municipality. The project consists of a 2 MW pelton turbine, a buried pipe route of 2,660 metres. It also collects water from Storbekken in a separate stream intake which is transferred into the main pipe.
The project was built for customer Østerdalen kraftproduksjon AS (ØKAS).
ØKA's former adviser thought it would be too expensive and thus unprofitable, but Njord found good, cost-saving solutions that made the project a reality.
