Lastad Power Plant

Njord is building the Lastad power plant for Lastad kraft AS. The facility is located in Lyngdal municipality. A 1,300-metre-long underground pipeline will be established between the intake and the power station.
The intake is designed with a two-way eel passage, so that eels can wander up and down past the intake dam without being injured. A lot of work has gone into creating a solution here that takes care of the environment.
Construction work will start in spring 2026, with completion in winter 2026/2027.
